The Addams Family: A Spooky Yet Sweet Return

The classic sitcom The Addams Family ranks as one of the most recognizable series from the 1960s. Though the show only ran for two seasons and 64 episodes, most everyone recognizes Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester and the rest of the strange family at 0001 Cemetery Ridge.

The Mars company and advertising agency BBDO New York are counting on it and have started a new campaign to promote their Dark Chocolate M&Ms. All of the characters from the series are represented as M&Ms in a short 15 second commercial. The spot was produced in black and white (like the series), uses familiar poses from the show’s opening and even utilizes a portion of the classic themesong. Sweet move guys. Stay tuned!
