Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, and ye may for a while longer. ABC has renewed The Bachelor TV show for a 24th season, which will air during the 2019-2020 television season. The newest bachelor has yet to be announced, however.
A dating reality TV series on the ABC television network, The Bachelor is hosted by Chris Harrison. It follows a bachelor looking for love, who will meet, court and narrow down his potential soulmate from a pretty big field of potential partners. Former NFL tight end Colton Underwood was the most recent bachelor.
The Bachelor: A Look at the Ratings
The 23rd season of The Bachelor averaged a 1.86 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.55 million viewers. Compared to season 22, that’s up by 9% in the demo and up by 3% in viewership. It remains the top-rated ABC TV show.
