TV show description:
This daytime talk show is hosted by good-natured comedienne, director, producer, and actress Bonnie Hunt. The set is a tribute to Dean Martin and features pictures of Hunt’s dog and family. Guests enter through a door, down the stairs, or sometimes, via the fireman’s pole.

Each episode begins with Hunt entering from offstage to come sit at her desk. She discusses topics of the day and chats with the audience, executive producer Don Lake, and musical director Nicholas Pike and the in-house band (Nate Morton, Mike Nelson, Reggie Hamilton, and Cheche Alara).

On each episode, Hunt welcomes guests — from the music world, on-screen performers, and sometimes everyday folks with something unique to share. Hunt also takes part in various recorded and live, in-studio skits. It’s not uncommon for her to take a trip to the mall or Costco to find out what’s on the minds of regular people and to examine how silly the world can sometimes be.

Recurring segments include webchats with her mom for “Ask Alice;” “Mail from You Guys” in which Hunt answers viewer emails; “Dr. Know It All” features Hunt, Lake and audience volunteers doing improv; teaching audience members how to dance via “Make It Happen;” and “Young People Don’t Know Nothin'” in which Hunt asks young audience members some babyboomer trivia questions.

Series Finale:
Episode 348
Hunt starts the show by thanking the audience and her staff members for their support. She then welcomes Holly Robinson Peete and her husband, former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete, who discuss the challenges of raising an autistic child. Brody Jenner (The Hills) also stops by for a chat.

Segments include Hunt taking a trip to the local Costco and audience members competing in a photo caption contest. For the “Feel Good Moment of the Day,” Hunt calls her entire staff onstage to take a bow and say farewell.
