The Challenger has added six new cast members. The NASA drama shows the events leading up to the events of the Challenger disaster.
William Fichtner, Kevin Carroll, Eric Lange, Adelaide Clemens, Louisa Jacobson, and Hunter Burke are joining the cast, which includes Kristen Stewart, Will Arnett, Danny Huston, Sofia Black D’Elia, Paul Sparks, Boris McGiver, and Shea Whigham.
Deadline shared the following about the roles the cast additions will play on the Prime Video series:
“Fichtner plays Nobel physicist Richard Feynman, with Carroll as his fellow physicist, Professor Arthur Walker. Lange portrays Gen. Donald Kutyna (of the Presidential Commission on the Space Shuttle Challenger Accident), with Clemens as NASA astronaut Rhea Seddon, Jacobson as Tam O’Shaughnessy (partner of Kristen Stewart’s astronaut and physicist Sally Ride) and Burke as astronaut Steve Hawley.”
The premiere date for The Challenger will be announced later.
