The Fosters: Rob Morrow and Kelli Williams Cast on ABC Family Series

The Fosters TV show on ABC Family: ratings (cancel or renew?)

The Fosters is far from cancelled. Dialing up the star-power, the ABC Family series has cast Rob Morrow and Kelli Williams in recurring roles on its hour-long family drama, The Fosters. The Fosters follows Stef Adams Foster (Teri Polo), her wife Lena Adams Foster (Sherri Saum), and their brood — an ethnically diverse blend of biological, adopted, and foster children.

Morrow will play Will, a free spirit, introduced to the family by Stef’s mom, Sharon (Annie Potts). Williams has been cast as Justina, a foster-care specialist interested in the “Fost and Found” website created by foster child, Callie (Maia Mitchell). Hayden Byerly, David Lambert, Cierra Ramirez, and Noah Centineo also star.

Burbank, CA (September 30, 2015) – ABC Family has cast Kelli Williams (“Detective McLean: Ties That Bind,” “Army Wives”) and Rob Morrow (“Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll,” upcoming “American Crime Story: The People v O.J. Simpson,”) in recurring guest-star roles on the hit drama series “The Fosters.” Williams will play “Justina,” a well-connected foster-care specialist who proposes a significant investment in Callie’s “Fost and Found” website. Morrow is cast as “Will,” a liberal-minded free-spirit who is introduced to the Adams Foster family through Stef’s mom, Sharon, played by Annie Potts (“Any Day Now”). “The Fosters” started production on the second half of the third season today in Los Angeles.

“The Fosters” is a compelling, one-hour drama about a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Recently added to the mix are their newly adopted daughter, Callie, and her brother Jude.
