The Golden Girls: Videos of Life After ‘Miami Nice’

The Golden Girls debuted on NBC in 1985 and ran for seven seasons, ending in 1992. It starred Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, Betty White and Estelle Getty as housemates in Florida and was nicknamed “Miami Nice” (in reference to the popular 1980s cop show Miami Vice).

Each of the actresses had a full careers and bodies of work prior to the series. After the series ended, they all went on to other work and, with the exception of Estelle Getty (who is in poor health), are all still very active in the business today.

Here’s a look at the Girls after their incredibly popular series (as well as a 2006 animated parody of their characters).
