The Good Wife: CBS Cast Talk What They’ll Take From the Set

The Good Wife TV show on CBS: season 7

The Good Wife is ending. And while fans can only take the episodes with them, E! reports the cast might be taking more from the set of the CBS series.

The legal drama is ending this May after seven seasons. Earlier, star Julianna Margulies said fans will either hate or love the upcoming series finale.

Speaking to E!, cast member Jeffrey Dean Morgan said he’s taking the show’s most valuable asset—its leading lady:

I’m going to take Julianna. I’m taking her. My wife will be thrilled. The other day we had a scene where they were sort of destroying the law offices and Cush was grabbing pieces of the broken wall. I would take some of Jason’s wardrobe. That’s about it. I’ve got the memories. They’re locked up.”

Cush Jumbo added that she was crying on set when the walls were being torn down:

They were sledgehammering some walls in the law firm…I did get quite upset and cry in the middle of the scene because I’m a fan of the show. A lot of stuff has happened with those walls and in that room, so I was very torn between professionalism and complete fangirldom.”

Margulies said she’s taking one of Alicia’s chairs home with her:

“It’s beautiful and comfortable…I don’t want to look at her every day, but the chair is something—Sitting in it, there’s an ease. And it came on the set and Alicia’s life in a time when she had finally sort of found herself for lack of a better word,”

The series finale of The Good Wife airs on May 8th on CBS.
