TV show description:
In this reality series, cameras follow Laguna Beach resident Lauren “LC” Conrad as she leaves the shores of Orange County to chase her dream of fashion design in Los Angeles.
A student at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, LC moves in with friend and fellow student Heidi Montag and lands an internship at Teen Vogue. Young and single in LA. along with friend Audrina Partridge and co-worker Whitney Port, life is as sunny as Laguna Beach for LC. But, as she tries to balance school, work, friends, and her relationship with on-again-off-again boyfriend Jason, she learns that the sun isn’t always shining in the real world.
Adding to the drama is the fact that Heidi drops out of school for a events planning job at Bolthouse Productions. And LC’s boss, fearless fashion editor Lisa Love isn’t about to let LC coast on the job. She keeps Lauren and Whitney on their toes as they continue to reach for their dreams.
When Heidi meets and falls for the sly Spencer Pratt, her friendship with LC begins to unravel. But LC isn’t about to waste her designer wardrobe and sit at home crying. She hits the down with friends Audrina and Whitney, as well as Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, and Spencer’s best friend Brody Jenner. Team LC is — like totally — not going down without a fight.
