The Walking Dead‘s Scott Wilson has been cast in the Netflix original TV show, The OA. This new dramatic series from co-writers Zat Batmanglij and Brit Marling, stars Marling, and is directed by Batmanglij. The eight-episode first season of The OA is planned to hit Netflix, later this year.
Plan B’s Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, and Anonymous Content’s Michael Sugar, are executive producing with Marling and Batmanglij.
Not much has been released about the premise of The OA series. Deadline says Wilson has been cast as Abel Johnson, the adoptive father of Marling’s character, Prairie Johnson.
