TV show description:
An appearance of Ozzy Osbourne and his family at their Beverly Hills mansion on MTV’s Cribs, sparked the creation of this hugely successful reality show.
The program details the home life of heavy metal icon Ozzy, his wife Sharon, daughter Kelly, son Jack, nanny Melinda, and a multitude of dogs and cats. Much of the show’s appeal comes from watching Ozzy, the “Prince of Darkness,” live his everyday life — cleaning up after his dogs, making gravy, and being completely puzzled by the remote control.
Episodes also show how the famed Black Sabbath singer copes with his shopaholic wife and out-of-control children who are always getting into some kind of trouble — whether it’s using a fake ID, losing a credit card, or getting a tattoo. The show also delves into deeper subjects like the family dealing with Kelly’s drug abuse problem and Sharon’s bout with colon cancer.
The touching and comical series proves that, no matter how rich or famous one may be, someone still has to take out the trash.
