The Out-Law: CBS Commits to Christopher Moynihan Family Comedy TV show

Deadline reports that CBS has given a script commitment with penalty to writer-actor Christopher Moynihan, for his in-law family comedy, The Out-Law. You might remember Moynihan onscreen in cancelled series Man Up! and 100 Questions. Continue on for details.

Written by 100 Questions and Man Up! creator Moynihan, The Out-Law centers on a perpetually positive, Berkeley-born, liberal white-collar doctor and only child, who marries into a loud, cynical, blue-collar Long Island family. Moynihan also exec produces with Kelly Kulchak.

This is writer-actor Moynihan’s second sale this season. He also has a put pilot commitment at NBC for a family comedy, which he’s co-writing with Marlon Wayans, with Wayans set to star. As an actor, Moynihan is currently shooting a co-starring role in Netflix feature Mascots. He also recently recurred on HBO’s Veep. Moynihan is repped by the Rothman Brecher Agency, Thruline and attorney Chris Abramson.
