The Son: Season Two Ratings

The Son TV show on AMC: season 2 ratings (canceled or renewed season 3?)

Although the first season of The Son TV show did all right for a non-zombie AMC TV series, it was followed by a two-year hiatus. When the long-awaited second season premiere was finally announced, the cable network also revealed this was the end of the hunt — there would be no season three. Since viewers already know it is effectively cancelled (i.e. ending), will that affection Nielsen ratings for The Son? Stay tuned.

An AMC Western drama based on the Philipp Meyer novel, The Son stars Pierce Brosnan, Henry Garrett, Sydney Lucas, Jacob Lofland, Zahn McClarnon, Paola Núñez, David Wilson Barnes, Jess Weixler, Shane Graham, Zach McClarnon, Caleb Burgess, and Elizabeth Frances. The Texas tale follows three generations of the McCullough family and features the rise of the McCullough family empire, as well as the metamorphosis of patriarch Eli McCullough (Brosnan) from an affable innocent into conniving killer.
