The alphabet network has announced that season three of the cooking competition will kick off on Thursday, December 4th. It will air for two hours, helping the network fill the night while their Thursday dramas take a break for the holidays.
All four judges/mentors from season two are returning for season three — Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre and Marcus Samuelsson.

Season Three of ABC’s “The Taste” premieres on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) with the search to find America’s best undiscovered cook. Each week, in a fast-paced culinary competition, professional chefs and home cooks go head-to-head in “The Taste” kitchen, and the food is always judged blind. Returning this season to train the cooks is “The Taste’s” all-star team of mentors: Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre and Marcus Samuelsson. Tune in to ABC’s “The Taste” to see who can stand the heat in this season’s kitchen.
“The Taste” features no-holds barred Chef Anthony Bourdain, British food star Nigella Lawson, expert chef/author Ludo Lefebvre and chef, author and restaurateur Marcus Samuelsson. “The Taste” is from Kinetic Content and is executive produced by Chris Coelen, Sam Dean, Kathleen Burns, Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson and Brian Smith who is also the director.
