The Taste: Season Two Ratings

The Taste on ABC ratingsIt appears that FOX doesn’t have a lock on the cooking competitions. Despite mediocre ratings, ABC renewed The Taste for a second season. Will the ratings improve or will the show be cancelled before it can see a third season? We’ll have to wait and see.

The Taste is a culinary competition that pits professional and amateur cooks against one another in weekly challenges. The judges/mentors are Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre, and Marcus Samuelsson. Brian Malarkey, the winning coach from the first season, was replaced by Samuelsson.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
