Jimmy Fallon takes over from Jay Leno to host this institution of late night television, bringing it back to its New York City roots after being based in Los Angeles for more than 40 years. In addition to an opening monolgue, performances by musical guests and celebrity interviews, this program features miscellaneous skits and taped comedy bits (not unlike those that were part of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon).
