The Traitors: Peacock Reveals Premiere Date and Celebrity Players for Psychological Game Show

The Traitors TV show on Peacock: canceled or renewed?

The Traitors is coming to Peacock next month. The competition reality series, inspired by the Dutch show of the same name, will be hosted by Alan Cumming. In the Peacock version, 20 competitors will complete challenges to try to earn a big cash prize. The twist is that three of them are actually traitors who are working to steal the prize for themselves.  All 10 episodes of the season will be released at once.

Peacock revealed more about the series in a press release.

Today, Peacock announced the premiere date and contestants for its nail-biting, psychological reality competition series The Traitors, hosted by the deliciously witty Alan Cumming. All 10 episodes will drop exclusively on Peacock on January 12, 2023.

Set in a remote castle in the Scottish Highlands and based on the wildly popular Dutch series of the same name, 5-time Emmy-nominated Alan Cumming plays host to twenty larger-than-life personalities (including reality A-listers and America’s best game players) who come together to complete a series of challenges with the objective of earning a cash prize of up to $250,000. The catch? Three of the contestants coined “the traitors” will devise a plan to steal the prize from the other contestants coined “the faithful.”

The Traitors will feature reality stars and celebrity contestants including:

· Cody Calafiore (Big Brother)

· Kate Chastain (Below Deck)

· Reza Farahan (Shahs of Sunset)

· Ryan Lochte (Olympian)

· Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick (Survivor)

· Additional contestants who will be joining the celebrities for a game chock-full of alliances, deception, and even “murder” include:

· Michael Davidson (DMV Office Manager) – Oneida, KY

· Andie Thurmond (Director of Music Services) – Reno, NV

· Amanda Clark (Emergency Room Nurse) – Carlisle, PA
