The Vampire Diaries: Win the Complete First Season on DVD! (Ended)

Entertainment Weekly calls The Vampire Diaries “a fresh spin on vampires with compellingly spooky storylines and a smoldering cast.” It would seem that many CW viewers agree as it’s one of the network’s top shows.

The story centers around Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who returns to Mystic Falls High School after her parents’ tragic deaths. On the first day, she meets and soon falls for the mysterious new kid, Stefan (Paul Wesley). What she doesn’t know is that he’s a vampire who’s over a century old. She happens to be a miraculous double for the beautiful young woman who Stefan and his brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) both loved over 150 years ago. Things become further complicated when Damon shows up to wreak havoc on the town and pursue Elena for himself. Others in the cast include Steven R. McQueen, Sara Canning, Katerina Graham, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig, Kayla Ewell, and Michael Trevino.

The first season of The Vampire Diaries has been released on DVD and includes all 22 episodes on five DVDs. The set also includes over eight hours of special features including: behind-the-scenes featurettes, a commentary track, unaired scenes, webisodes, a gag reel, and a downloadable audiobook of the best-selling novel The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening by L. J. Smith.
