The Voice: Season 10 Ratings (Mondays)

NBC’s most-popular series has returned for another season and Christina Aguilera has returned as a judge. Will viewers return to The Voice as well? Will the ratings continue to fall or will they rise? Could it be cancelled or is it essentially guaranteed to return for season 11 in the fall? Stay tuned.

Hosted by Carson Daly, The Voice singing competition typically airs twice a week — on Monday and Tuesday nights. Coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams have returned, as has Christina Aguilera after a season away. Team advisors include Tori Kelly, P. Diddy, Patti LaBelle, and previous judge Gwen Stefani. Miley Cyrus will be an advisor for all teams during the knockout rounds.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. For comparisons: The Monday editions of the Spring 2015 cycle averaged a 3.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 11.81 million total viewers.

Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
