A key player is leaving The Walking Dead. Deadline reports Danai Gurira is departing the AMC TV show after season 10.
Gurira plays Michonne on the zombie drama, which also stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Melissa McBride, Alanna Masterson, Josh McDermitt, and Christian Serratos.
The news of Gurira’s exit comes after the departures of fellow Walking Dead cast members Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan. Both stars left during the AMC series’ current ninth season, but it seems Gurira will stick around for at least part of season 10.
