The Winner Is: Season One Ratings

Following the ratings success of The Voice, NBC is trying yet another singing competition — The Winner Is. Hosted by Nick Lachey, the series will run for nine episodes this summer. Will it do well enough to be renewed for another season or, will it be cancelled instead? We’ll have to wait and see.

Below are the ratings for the Summer 2013 season on NBC. These figures will be updated as the weeks progress so be sure to bookmark and return to this page to see how things are going.

Final season averages: 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.70 million total viewers.

Episode 01-07: Thursday, 08/08/13 (finale)
0.9 in the demo (-10% change) with 3.83 million (-11% change).
Season averages: 1.21 in the demo with 4.70 million.

Episode 01-06: Thursday, 08/01/13
1.0 in the demo (+11% change) with 4.29 million (+12% change).
Season averages: 1.27 in the demo with 4.85 million.

Episode 01-05: Thursday, 07/25/13
0.9 in the demo (0% change) with 3.84 million (-3% change).
Season averages: 1.32 in the demo with 4.96 million.

Episode 01-04: Thursday, 07/18/13
0.9 in the demo (-18% change) with 3.96 million (-1% change).
Season averages: 1.43 in the demo with 5.24 million.

Episode 01-03: Thursday, 07/11/13
1.1 in the demo (-42% change) with 4.03 million (-40% change).
Season averages: 1.60 in the demo with 5.67 million.

Episode 01-02: Monday, 06/17/13
1.9 in the demo (+6% change) with 6.68 million (+6% change).
Season averages: 1.85 in the demo with 6.49 million.

Episode 01-01: Monday, 06/10/13
1.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.30 million total viewers.
Season averages: 1.80 in the demo with 6.30 million.

For the summer season, this wasn’t a bad start. However, considering the strong lead-in from The Voice, the new singing competition should have done better.
