The Young Turks TV show is coming this fall to Fusion TV. A weekly news show, The Young Turks is hosted by Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola, with a live audience. The hosts will be joined on the road by talent including Cenk Uygur, Jimmy Dore, Ben Mankiewicz, Hannah Cranston, and Kim Horcher.

The Young Turks began on Sirius Satellite Radio in 2002. It later expanded to YouTube. The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur aired on Current TV (now truTV) from 2011 to 2013.

FUSION Bolsters 2016 Coverage with New Show from ‘The Young Turks’

TYT and FUSION Hosts Hit the Road for Tour of College Campuses During Final Stretch of 2016 Presidential Campaign

FUSION today announced it is launching a weekly, one-hour show this fall with The Young Turks (TYT), the largest online news show, bolstering FUSION’s coverage of the 2016 presidential election. The Young Turks, along with a group of FUSION reporters, will travel to college campuses around the country to elevate the issues that matter to the new, rising American mainstream during the key weeks of the general election.

The Young Turks 12-week run on FUSION will kick off the week of September 5 and will air in FUSION’s cable channel and digital properties.

The weekly show will be hosted by Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola and broadcast in front of a live audience. They will be joined on the road by FUSION talent and other popular TYT hosts including Cenk Uygur, Jimmy Dore, Ben Mankiewicz, Hannah Cranston, and Kim Horcher. The broadcast will also feature celebrity guest hosts and participation from the local campus communities. The hosts will cover a range of subjects from politics and current events to key campus issues and pop culture.

Ana Kasparian is a co-host of The Young Turks. She joined TYT as a fill-in producer in 2007 and has continually climbed through the ranks, eventually culminating in her position today as co-host. Additionally, she served as producer and contributor for the Current TV show. During her tenure, the show has been honored for a variety of different accolades, including the 2011 People’s Voice Webby Award for “Best News & Political Series” as well as the 2009 “Best Political News Site” award. She’s a professor of journalism at California State University of Northridge, and is also a frequent contributor on Pivot’s Take Part Live. In 2016, Kasparian was included in Forbes 30-under-30 list.

John Iadarola is a co-host of The Young Turks and the host and creator of ThinkTank, TYT Network’s second-most popular show. John also appears regularly on What The Flick, The Point, and nearly every show on the TYT network. John earned his BA in Political Science at the University of Connecticut and left a PhD program in Government at Texas at Austin to join The Young Turks. John has also appeared as a political commentator on HLN and Pivot TV.

Cenk Uygur is the founder and CEO of The Young Turks, LLC, and the host of the flagship show, The Young Turks, a daily 2-hour show on YouTube. He also hosted The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur, which aired daily at 7PM ET on Current TV from Oct 2011 to Aug 2013. Prior to moving to Current TV, Cenk hosted a primetime news show on MSNBC from 2010 to 2011. Prior to founding TYT, Cenk was a host on the USA Broadcasting where he also worked as a television writer. In the early stages of his broadcast career he hosted radio shows on WRKO in Boston, MA, WWRC in Washington, DC, Sirius Satellite Radio and Air America. Cenk currently contributes to the Huffington Post where he is in the Top 5 Most Popular All Time blogger. Cenk is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and Columbia Law School.
