“Murder … it’s just not cool.” Recently, Amazon released the official trailer for the upcoming reboot of The Tick.
Based on Ben Edlund’s long-running comic, the comedy tells the story of an eccentric superhero (Peter Serafinowicz) who fights crime with his sidekick, Arthur (Griffin Newman). The original series ran on FOX for one season in 2001. The new cast includes Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry, and Brendan Hines.
Prime Video will debut The Tick‘s first season in two parts. The first six episodes are set to premiere on August 25th. The second half will launch in 2018.
