“Fear not, citizens. He’s on his way.” Today, Amazon announced their upcoming reboot of The Tick will premiere this summer.
Based on Ben Edlund’s long-running comic, the comedy tells the story of an eccentric superhero (Peter Serafinowicz) who fights crime with his sidekick, Arthur (Griffin Newman). The original series ran on FOX for one season in 2001. The new cast includes Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry, and Brendan Hines.
The Tick is set to debut on Prime Video on August 25th.
