The Tick has a new team member. Deadline reports Jackie Earle Haley has been cast in Amazon’s upcoming revival series.
Based on the comics of Ben Edlund, The Tick tells the story of an eccentric superhero who fights crime with his sidekick, Arthur. The original series ran on FOX for only one season back in 2001.
Haley will play The Terror, “a powerful super villain and the leader of the evil league in the comics.” Armin Shimerman played the villain in the original series.
Haley joins other cast members Peter Serafinowicz and Griffin Newman for the reboot series.
