The Tick has some new company. Deadline reports Scott Speiser has joined the upcoming Amazon TV series.
Based on Ben Edlund’s long-running comic, The Tick tells the story of an eccentric superhero (Peter Serafinowicz) who fights crime with his sidekick, Arthur (Griffin Newman). The original series ran on FOX for one season in 2001. The new cast includes Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry, and Brendan Hines.
The details for Speiser’s role have not been revealed, and Prime Video has not yet announced a premiere date for The Tick.
