Will The Tick be back for another season? Recently, it was revealed the writers of the Amazon series are heading back to work. Could it be for season two?
Based on Ben Edlund’s long-running comic, the comedy tells the story of an eccentric superhero (Peter Serafinowicz) who fights crime with his sidekick, Arthur (Griffin Newman). The original series ran on FOX for one season in 2001. The new cast includes Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry, and Brendan Hines.
On Twitter, series writer Susan Hurwitz Arneson revealed The Tick is beginning work on what is very likely to be season two. Even though Prime Video has not officially announced a season two renewal, the news suggests there will be.
The first season of The Tick returns to Amazon with new episodes on February 23rd.
