What can fans expect from the Timeless movie? Recently, star Matt Lanter spoke with TVInsider about the cancelled NBC TV show and its upcoming wrap-up movie.
Lanter plays Wyatt on the time-travel drama, which finished it second and final season earlier this year. The cast also includes Abigail Spencer, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit.
In the interview, Lanter revealed the Timeless movie will take place during different time periods:
They haven’t shared much with me. I know that we’re going to do a couple of different time periods. See more of the same stuff that we do and people love. Hopefully, we are going to be saving Rufus. I don’t know that, but I’d assume.”
Also, Lanter said he’s grateful for all the fans have done to help the NBC series:
I think they really deserve it. They worked so hard to bring us back two different times. It’s been wild.”
NBC’s Timeless movie is expected to air sometime later this year.
