NBC is going all out for Timeless. According to Broadcasting & Cable, the network’s new series has reached nearly 286 million TV ad impressions in the past week.
From Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan, the upcoming drama follows a professor, a bodyguard, and an engineer on the hunt for a time-traveling criminal. The cast includes Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Visnjic, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit.
In the past seven days, ads for the series have been viewed around 286.1 million times, beating out FOX’s upcoming Lethal Weapon reboot (250.2 million impressions) and CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles (234 million).
However, the massive ad boost comes at the same time the network is being sued over the show. Recently, a Spanish company claimed Timeless ripped off one of their series, a time travel drama titled El Ministerio del Tiempo. NBC has not yet commented on the pending lawsuit.
Timeless debuts on October 3rd.
