What can fans expect from the Timeless finale? Recently, the cast of the cancelled NBC TV show teased the upcoming series finale.
As reported earlier, NBC has ordered a TV movie to wrap up the time-travel drama. The cast includes Matt Lanter, Abigail Spencer, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, star Matt Lanter revealed the Timeless finale won’t end with the team:
What I think is pretty cool is the end end — the very end — doesn’t end on us. It doesn’t end on the team. It’s larger than us three, or it’s larger than the team, which I think is cool.”
Goran Višnjić added:
You would never see episodes like this on television; this is really made for fans. We’re going to close all the loops. We’re going to tie all the loose ends. We’re going to come back with a storm of words that our fans love and memories from previous episodes. Every day, we come in and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, can I say this because they are going to remember I said that in episode two!’ And the writers are like, ‘Yeah, great!’ So it’s a very unusual two-part series finale.”
The series finale of Timeless debuts on NBC on December 20th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
