A new superhero is joining the Titans team. The Wrap reports Joshua Orpin will star in season two of the DC Universe TV show.
The live-action drama “follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe.” The cast includes Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Teagan Croft as Raven, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, and Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach.
On Titans, Orpin will be playing Superboy (aka Conner Kent), who made his debut appearance in the post-credits scene of the show’s season one finale. According to The Wrap, Superboy is “the angsty Teenager of Steel searching for purpose and the truth about his past. While looking for answers, he crashes into the world of the Titans and finds an unlikely home and surrogate family as well as revelations that carry more complications than he ever bargained for.”
DC Universe has not yet announced a premiere date for season two of Titans, but you can watch (or re-watch) Superboy’s first appearance below:
