Toast is the latest series from Shondaland in development, and the ABC pilot features a star that currently appears on Grey’s Anatomy. With that series getting ready for its thirteenth season, fans are wondering if the casting of Jerrika Hinton in the comedy means her time on Grey’s Anatomy is coming to an end. Shonda Rhimes has been known to kill off characters when the actors are signed onto other projects.
In an interview with TV Line, Hinton was asked about the comedy and her role on Grey’s Anatomy. It sounds like fans do not have to worry about Stephanie being killed off just yet. The actress said the following:
“Definitely not. I feel very confident that there’s more ground to explore next season.”
Fans of the series should expect a big season finale next month. A disaster was teased by members of the cast.
