Tommy is making a big change. Deadline reports David Fierro’s role in the upcoming CBS TV show will be recast.
The law enforcement drama stars Edie Falco as Abigail “Tommy” Thomas, “a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female Chief of Police for Los Angeles.” The cast also includes Michael Chernus, Adelaide Clemens, David Fierro, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, and Joseph Lyle Taylor.
David Fierro, who played the mayor of Los Angeles in the Tommy pilot, is apparently leaving the upcoming CBS TV show. According to Deadline, the co-starring role will be recast before the show debuts next midseason.
