Training Day will have a special guest star that Buffy fans will recognize. TV Line reported that Emma Caulfield will appear in an early episode of the series.
TV Line shared the following about her character:
“[She] will appear in an early Season 1 episode as Lauren, a warm, sympathetic single mom who spent the last nine years raising her young daughter alone and in hiding after her husband (Cougar Town‘s Brian Van Holt) went to jail for killing a man in self defense. When a natural disaster forces Lauren out into the open, her hubby must break out of prison in order to save their lives.”
