Trial & Error has some new company. Deadline reports Amanda Payton has joined season two of the NBC TV show.
The new season of the anthology comedy will see Josh Segal and Associates work on the case of Lavinia Peck-Foster (Kristin Chenoweth), an eccentric heiress whose husband is found dead in the back of her car.
On Trial & Error, Payton will play “Nina Rudolph, a hip girl from New York who has relocated to East Peck.” NBC has not yet announced a premiere date for season two.
