Netflix is taking on the Trojan War. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming platform is teaming up with the BBC to co-produce a new limited series called Troy: Fall of a City.
From The Night Manager writer David Farr, the drama “is described as an epic tale of love, revenge and intrigue focusing on the war and the love affair between Paris and Helen of Troy, which, if Homer is to be believed, started the whole mess in the first place.”
Production on Troy: Fall of a City is slated to begin in South Africa this month. Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date for the series.
