In a recent interview with TV Guide, Ball noted that there have been some disucssions in the writers room about how to end True Blood when that time comes. Ball said that, even if he’s not running the show at that point, he will return for the series finale.
He also noted that production of season six has been shifted to January and that there will be only 10 episodes next season instead of the usual dozen installments.
This is being done in part for economic reasons and in part because of Anna Paquin’s real-life pregancy. The actress and her husband/co-star Stephen Moyer are expecting twins in November.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there will be fewer episodes than usual of True Blood or is it no big deal to you?
