Common Law
USA Network recently announced that their new Common Law TV series would debut on January 26th. The cable channel has now revised its plans and has decided to delay the show until summer. They believe that, since the series has an action-comedy feel to it, Common Law will find more success with a summer launch. A specific date hasn’t been announced yet. Common Law stars Michael Ealy and Warren Kole as a detective team who are forced to attend couples counseling.

Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales
The 1960s animated series is being released on DVD in a “complete collection. It’ll be released by Shout! Factory on March 6th and will include 21 hours of cartoon goodness. In this series, you may recall that Get Smart’s Don Adams stars as the voice of a scheming penguin named Tennessee Tuxedo. His best friend is Chumley the Walrus (voiced by Bradley Bolke) and together, they escape their zoo home and get into trouble in the outside world.

Friends
Profiles in History is selling several recognizable items from the popular 1990s sitcom. Pieces that are set to go up for auction include the faded mohair orange couch from Central Perk (estimated to sell for $4,000-6,000), the golden peephole frame from Monica’s apartment door (up to $1,000-2,000), and various other knick knacks from the Friends sets. The items are part of the Icons of Hollywood sale which will be held on December 15th and 16th in Beverly Hills.

Castle
ABC has ordered an additional episode of Castle, bringing the current season total to 23 installments. The Monday night TV series is currently averaging a 2.5 in the 18-49 demographic with 11.1 million total viewers. That’s down by 7% when compared to last season. Castle ended up with a 24 episode order for the 2010-11 season.

One Life to Live
There’s still hope that All My Children and One Life to Live will continue online but it seems certain that they are both finished on ABC. AMC’s finale aired in September and the OLTL finale will air on January 13th. The View will be running a special send-off episode for OLTL on the day of the last episode. They’ll be airing interviews with current and past castmembers, memorable clips, and special footage from the last episode. Erika Slezak will be the featured guest, along with series creator Agnes Nixon.
