The Twilight Zone: CBS Developing Interactive Revival Series

The Twilight Zone TV show

CBS is in the zone. The Wrap reports the network is developing a new version of The Twilight Zone that will contain elements of interactive gameplay.

Created by Rod Serling, the original Twilight Zone ran from 1959 to 1964. It’s been revived twice since—once in 1985 and then in 2002.

The new series, from digital video company Interlude, will allow viewers to become part of the narrative by choosing the story’s direction. BioShock creator Ken Levine will direct and write the first episode.

Previously, Interlude created a video of Bob Dylan’s “Like A Rolling Stone” where viewers could switch between multiple channels of people lip-syncing the song.

No word yet on when the new Twilight Zone will premiere.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the original Twilight Zone? Would you watch the CBS reboot?
