Are we getting more than one season of the Twin Peaks reboot? The AV Club reports that shooting has wrapped on the upcoming Showtime series.
Created by David Lynch, the original Twin Peaks ran for two seasons in the early ’90s.
Previously, the Showtime reboot was reported as a limited series, featuring original stars Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, and Sheryl Lee as well as newcomers Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried, and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Now, a tweet has surfaced that might suggest there are two seasons planned for the Twin Peaks revival. Earlier this month, the account @ForLocations mentioned that filming for the series’ “first 2 seasons” had almost wrapped (the tweet has since been deleted) Here’s a screenshot:
While Showtime has not confirmed there will be two seasons of the revival, Twin Peaks did wrap up shooting this week after filming in both Washington and Los Angeles:
What do you think? Are you a fan of Twin Peaks? Are you going to watch the Showtime revival?
