From VICELAND:
VICELAND releases the trailer and confirms Monday, March 27th at 10:30 PM for the premiere for the 6-episode original documentary series Twiz & Tuck.
Twiz & Tuck is an emotional and inspiring story of self-discovery and friendship as two best friends (one who is gender fluid and one who is transgender) embark on the road trip of a lifetime. From Tuck’s hometown in Iowa to a rodeo in Arizona to the Las Vegas strip and finally where they originally met in San Francisco.
VICELAND is passionate about sharing a variety of stories of the LGBTQ community through Gaycation, special episodes of Balls Deep and now Twiz & Tuck.
TWIZ
Twiz is a gender variant artist, and business owner based in Brooklyn. Assigned female at birth alongside a twin brother, Twiz was born with Tourette Syndrome. Twiz took this challenge and channeled it into pursuing (and receiving) two master’s degrees – one in the fine arts and the other in creative arts therapy, which he plans on using to work with others who have the disorder. When he’s not running his business, or wandering through this world wondering which public restroom to use, Twiz enjoys visiting his fiancée in Sweden and, of course, traveling with his longtime friend, Tuck, to see what wild and wonderful things the world has to offer.
*Please note, Twiz’s preferred gender pronouns are ‘he’, ‘him’, and ‘his’
TUCK
Tuck is a transgender man, dog fanatic, and self-proclaimed cheeseburger connoisseur who works professionally as a WP designer and content marketer.
Tuck’s father is a retired racetrack scoreboard builder and his mother is a nurse. The family moved multiple times in during Tuck’s youth to accommodate his father’s career. On a sudden whim, Tuck’s mother decided to settle the family in a small, rural town in Iowa. Although Tuck identified as male, he was still living according to his assigned gender at birth, female, when he decided to join the U.S. Army. His Army career proved to be short-lived and at 19, Tuck moved to San Francisco and found a supportive queer community. Tuck landed a job writing content for porn films that eventually lead to a successful on-camera career as a transgender porn performer.
Currently living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Tuck is ten years sober writing his memoir about his experiences being trans and working in the porn industry. Tuck is also engaged to his longtime girlfriend and lifetime New Yorker, Katie, and in search of a perfect place to settle with their two dogs and planning for a family.
*Please note, Tuck’s preferred gender pronouns are ‘he’, ‘him’, and ‘his'”
