Undateable: Cancelled by NBC; No Season Four

Undateable TV show on NBC

It’s official. NBC has cancelled Undateable after three seasons, Variety reports.

The sitcom starred Chris D’Elia, Bridgit Mendler, Brent Morin, Bianca Kajlich, Rick Glassman, David Fynn, and Ron Funches as a group of friends struggling with relationships.

Earlier, Variety reported the news, but the comedy’s creator Adam Sztykiel called the cancellation update “100 percent incorrect and inaccurate reporting.” Executive producer Bill Lawrence added that the series “Could go either way but [it] has not been cancelled.” Now, NBC has confirmed the cancellation for good.

The news is hardly surprising, considering Undateable‘s low ratings during its third season. Though NBC shifted the series to an all-live format for the season, the comedy still performed poorly, earning an average rating of .78 in the 18-49 demo and a total of 2.746 million viewers.

D’Elia responded to the cancellation on his Twitter:

What do you think? Did you watch Undateable? Do you think it should’ve been renewed?
