Undateable: NBC Confirms Sitcom Not Cancelled

Undateable TV show on NBC: not canceledRecently, Variety reported that NBC’s Friday night sitcom, Undateable, had been cancelled after three seasons on the air. Considering the comedy’s poor ratings, the news didn’t come as much of a surprise.

Taking to Twitter, Undateable creator and executive producer Adam Sztykiel wrote that the cancellation news was “100 percent incorrect and inaccurate reporting.”

Executive producer Bill Lawrence agreed that the report was “erroneous” and added that the show’s fate “Could go either way but [it] has not been cancelled.”

According to the network, Undateable has not been cancelled — nor has it been renewed. An NBC representative has confirmed with TV Series Finale that a decision on season four has not been reached as yet.

We’ll likely know the show’s fate in the next week or two when NBC holds their upfront presentation for advertisers.

What do you think? Do you like the Undateable TV show? Realistically, do you think that this comedy will be cancelled or renewed?
