Undateable: NBC Exec Okay with Low Ratings?

Undateable

Is Undateable underperforming? At the winter TCA press tour, NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt said the network still likes the sitcom despite its low ratings.

Undateable stars Chris D’Elia, Brent Morin, Ron Funches, and Rick Glassman as a group of single friends trying to navigate dating and relationships.

Currently in the middle of its third season, it’s true that Undateable‘s numbers have declined. So far, season three is averaging only around 2.75 million viewers whereas season two averaged 4.75 million per episode.

The change may have to do with NBC’s decision to air all of season three’s episodes live on Friday night. Despite the low ratings, however, Greenblatt was quoted at the TCAs saying, “Undateable is a show we really like.”

What do you think? Do you watch Undateable? Is the series worse or better as an all-live show?
