“Just get ready to run.” WGN American has released a new behind-the-scenes music video and artwork for their upcoming series, Underground.
The series comes from creators Misha Green and Joe Pokaski, and executive producer John Legend.
Underground stars Aldis Hodge as Noah, a slave in the 1850s South who organizes an escape to freedom for himself and his peers. The thriller series also stars Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Christopher Meloni, Alano Miller, and Marc Blucas.
The series will feature a theme song, “Heaven’s Door,” performed by Alice Smith and contemporary music from artists like Kanye West and Legend.
Underground premieres on WGN America on March 9th, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
