There’s sure to be more drama in store on season two of Lifetime’s UnREAL. According to TVLine, the series is casting new regulars for the show-within-a-show, Everlasting.
Lifetime renewed UnREAL for a second season this summer.
The show about the production of a reality dating show will be taking a different direction from season one. For their version of The Bachelor, this time around they will be casting an African-American lead. The character, Darius Hill, will be “in his mid-20s and plays quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys.” And who are the women out for his affection?
The new female regulars will include all-American blonde Tiffany, African-American debutante Chantal, a “young Amal Clooney” named Yael who bears a striking resemblance to the show’s lead Shiri Appleby. In addition to the new castmembers, both Appleby and Constance Zimmer will also return.
No word yet on when season two will premiere.
