Once Upon a Time is getting ready for season six. Production on the new season of the ABC series began earlier this month, and there are more additions being made to the cast to help the story move forward. This season will return to a more normal format without the first half and second half device that has been used during seasons four and seasons five.
Once Upon a Time fans will see Aladdin, Jafar, Sinbad, and more arrive on the series this season, and now fans are learning about two more arrivals.
TV Guide reported that James Marsters will appear on the series this season. He is actually seen spending time with Cruella de Ville in the Underworld in a scene on the season five Blu-Ray. No details were released about his character. James Marsters is best known for his role on Buffy.
Entertainment Weekly revealed another new addition to the series. An alum from 24 will join the series as Morpheus. Giles Matthey will play a character that “is the quick-witted and insightful god of dreams from Greek mythology. He’s equally good at reading people as he is at hiding his own agenda. He will be doing what Morpheus does best — guiding people through the world of dreams.”
His character will interact with Belle during her sleep, and he will also interact with Rumplestiltskin as he tries to find a way to wake Belle up from her sleeping curse.
Once Upon a Time will return to ABC in September. Are you excited for season six? Tell us what you think.
