What does the future look like for Once Upon a Time. Recently, star Jennifer Morrison expressed doubt about a seventh season of the ABC TV series, TVGuide reports.
Earlier this week, network boss Channing Dungey was optimistic about more seasons of the fantasy drama, saying there are talks underway for a seventh season and ABC fully supports the show. The cast also includes Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Lana Parrilla, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue, Jared S. Gilmore, Rebecca Mader, and Robert Carlyle.
During a recent interview with podcast “The Drop-In,” Morrison revealed she’s unsure about another season of Once Upon a Time:
My contract ends in April on Once Upon a Time, I don’t know what that means. They haven’t picked up the show officially yet — they might, they might not. We are just waiting now to see if the network decides to continue with the show — and if they do continue with the show, if they’re going to rework it to be something else, or if they’re going to invite people to stay. We’re just in a holding pattern right now.”
ABC has not yet officially renewed the series for a seventh season.
