Janety Montgomery is headed to NBC. Entertainment Weekly reports the Salem star has been cast in the network’s upcoming series This Is Us.
From Dan Fogelman, the dramedy follows a group of people connected by a shared birthday. The cast includes Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Jon Huertas, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, and Ron Cephas Jones.
Montgomery will play Erin Maine, the love interest for sitcom actor Kevin (Hartley). The actress joins fellow new castmembers Katey Sagal and Brad Garrett.
This Is Us premieres on September 20th.
