The Vampire Diaries is getting ready for a dark and twisted season eight with Damon and Enzo turning so very evil in the season seven finale. There will be a new face to join the group from Mystic Falls next season of the CW series, and it sounds like she might be the evil one that turned Damon dark.
TV Line shared the following about the new addition:
“The show is currently casting the recurring role of Sybil, ‘an immortal who uses her immeasurable power and influence to control other people, manipulating them into twisted games and tests for her own amusement and glorification.’ Time will tell whether she proves to be a friend or foe, but given this show’s penchant for sympathetic villains, it could also be fair to assume she’ll be a bit of both.”
Sybil will make her first appearance on the season eight premiere of the series in October. Is she the creature from inside the vault or someone else entirely? Fans will need to tune in to find out.
