Varsity Blues is coming to the small screen. Variety reports Quibi is developing a TV show based on the 1999 movie.
The original film centered on the ups and downs of a small-town high school football team. The cast included James Van Der Beek, Jon Voight, Paul Walker, Ron Lester, Amy Smart, and Scott Caan.
Quibi’s Varsity Blues series comes from writer Tripper Clancy and will be directed by Anne Fletcher.
